I have loved to draw and create since I was a child. I also loved to dance (and still do), but my mother wanted me to learn something that I could always enjoy even as I grew older. Therefore, I began taking art lessons, specifically oil painting, when I was about 11 years old and continued to do so throughout my life. I no longer take lessons, but occasionally participate in a workshop. I recently have begun using acrylics and love them. I also redesign home accents to reflect a love of the sea by repainting them and then embellishing them with seashells, starfish, sanddollars, and sea glass. I sell my ocean themed products locally at the Fairhope Connection in Orange Beach & Fairhope, Alabama, as well as online. I have also found that I especially love painting dog portraits and sculpting with a clay media called Scratchworks. Ecrater is an outlet for my creative spirit. After all, there is only so much room for art in my home.
